As an Automotive Service Advisor at Mercedes-Benz of Foothill Ranch, you will be the face of the service department, helping our customers understand their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs. You will act as a liaison between customers and our team of expert technicians, ensuring that every interaction is smooth, transparent, and results in complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership, preferably with luxury brands.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proven ability to explain technical information to customers in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong sales and upselling abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with dealership software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and listen to their vehicle concerns and needs.
  • Advise customers on the required repairs and recommend additional maintenance services to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for vehicle repairs and services.
  • Communicate directly with technicians to ensure vehicle repairs are completed efficiently and correctly.
  • Maintain detailed records of services and customer interactions.
  • Ensure customers are informed of their vehicle's progress throughout the service process.
  • Foster a trusting relationship with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Perform quality checks on completed repairs and ensure customer satisfaction before the vehicle is returned.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their experience and encourage repeat business.
