About The Position

The Internal Agency Ultrasound Technologist responds to department critical coverage needs throughout the system. Competency requires versatility to cover any need throughout system Radiology Ultrasound departments. Performs Ultrasound procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, maintaining high quality imaging and patient welfare as a top priority. Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance. Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Applicants • $25/hr Float Pay • Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus • Up to 120 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off • Up to $4,000 Relocation Bonus • Up to $1.50 Certification Pay • Clinical Ladder up to $5,000

Requirements

Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
R.T. (S) (ARRT) or ARDMS (AB), (OB/GY), (VT) or (MSKS)
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field
2 years experience after graduation as a Registered Technologist in Ultrasound
