About The Position

POSITION PURPOSE Focus on underwriting and general analytical work affiliated with the credit approval process. Will also assist portfolio managers in monitoring the existing loan portfolio and assist relationship managers with marketing efforts for new client development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Spread commercial financial statements for prospective and existing customers. Perform financial analysis and underwriting of loan packages, which includes preparing charts and narrative related to analysis of sources & uses, capitalization, historical and projected financial statements, financial covenants, stress testing and collateral valuation. Perform diligence for prospective and existing customers related to business descriptions, industry analysis, market analysis and other general credit risk factor analysis. Obtain and analyze appropriate diligence materials for the evaluation of collateral value. Assist with monitoring existing client relationships for periodic loan reviews. Maintain open lines of communication with portfolio managers and relationship managers. Other duties as assigned. The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only. Requirements

• Candidate for a bachelor's degree in business administration or economics with an emphasis in finance and/or accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Proven analytical ability
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with financial analysis including, cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement analysis, collateral evaluation, and appraisal reports.
