The Hyundai Capital America Summer Internship is a unique and robust 10-week program that offers the ability to earn on-the job experience at a global organization. The interns will participate in projects, support one of our headquarters-based departments, and work closely with managers on current business initiatives and challenges. Each intern will be assigned to a project and will have a final presentation in front of HCA’s leadership team. While at HCA, interns will also have the option to participate in a variety of activities that will expose them to our unique corporate culture and core values. The interns will be assigned to one of the following departments: Operations Strategy and Transformation Collections Strategy IT Strategy and Planning Sales Treasury Servicing Accounting Central Data Office Risk HCI Operations Corporate Planning Customer Experience

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Good personal computer skills, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to understand and use a variety of systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
  • Creative, innovative and adaptive to change
  • Must be a graduating senior, a recent graduate who will be starting a graduate program in the fall of 2026 or a current graduate student obtaining a Master’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Auto Finance industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Project Management – Successfully complete assigned department specific project
  • Strategy Development & Data Analysis – Provide quantitative and analytical support for assigned department
  • Presentation Creation – Create final presentation at the end of the internship program for HCA leadership team
  • All other ad-hoc projects and assigned duties
