About The Position

WS Development is seeking a 2026 Intern to join the Hyde Park Village Field Team. This role will work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Manager, gaining hands-on experience in mixed-use real estate development with a strong focus on event planning, on-site activations, marketing, and social media management. The internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how experiential programming, digital storytelling, and community engagement drive awareness and growth for a destination. Timing: February through May (may extend beyond May) Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week; some weekends required Location: This position requires the intern to work in-office at 1646 W Snow Ave, Tampa during standard business hours. No remote opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Student studying Marketing/Business Administration or similar field, with interest in retail, event planning + management, marketing, and social media.
• Strong oral, written, organizational, interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook).

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in marketing-based tools is a plus (i.e. Iconosquare, Canva, Wordpress, Klaviyo) but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in creating, planning & orchestrating multiple community and retail events per often collaborating with key community partners and non-profit organizations.
• Helps maintain website presence, email program, and social channels with focus on Instagram.
• Assists in informing retail partners of marketing activities and supports requests for on-site programming/activation.
• Displays passion and enthusiasm for community outreach, retail, communication, and event production.
• Actively seeks prospective opportunities for collaboration among the Hyde Park Village community.
• Assists in administrative tasks, including, but not limited to marketing research, collecting event attendance, drafting meeting agendas, and creating/distributing marketing materials.
