About The Position

Description Desktop Supports mission is to provide our customers with comprehensive desktop service offerings, the right technology solutions, combined with the speed of delivery that will enhance productivity in the workplace. We promote a strong partnership with our business customers to ensure their requirements are understood and delivered efficiently, with leading edge solutions, while still maintaining our corporate standards. Our Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) intern program offers college students an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the financial sector while assisting us in providing the high-quality support that our members deserve. Enrollment in an accredited university is required to be eligible for this position—the willingness to learn combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience while developing your professional skills. A requirement of this position is you must be currently enrolled in college level courses or a degree-seeking program throughout the duration of the internship. Responsibilities Performs work in support of Desktop Support Services group, duties may vary depending on the assignment Applies knowledge gained from the degree program in day-to-day duties/responsibilities May receive guidance and direction from management and/or senior-level staff Leverage technical knowledge and skill Works within established standards, change control, policies, and procedures Provides exceptional customer service Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions Ability to adapt to new technologies Ability to provide exceptional customer service Ability to work independently and in a team environment Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills Effective organizational, planning and time management skills Experience with PC hardware and software Must be pursing degree from an accredited college/university Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (minimum of 20-25 hours a week, based on school schedule) Location: 5550 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526
