Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in health, wellness, and lifestyle journalism
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative setting
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in journalism, communications, media studies, public health, or a related field

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with digital media, social platforms, or content management systems is a plus
• Interest in analytics, SEO, and audience engagement strategies preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist editors in all aspects of content production, including research, sourcing visual assets, pitching ideas, and drafting articles
• Contribute to commerce-driven editorial content such as product roundups, galleries, and service-oriented stories
• Support day-to-day editorial operations to ensure smooth and efficient content workflows
• Collaborate with editors and cross-functional teams to execute content aligned with brand voice and standards
• Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and quality across all published content
• Pitch timely, relevant story ideas that resonate with the Women’s Health audience
• Help organize editorial calendars, track assignments, and maintain content systems
