The WesBanco Insurance Services Intern will learn key foundational banking and insurance concepts to improve his/her banking, insurance, sales, and management skills in a rotational program through various retail functional areas. Develops skills by performing a variety of tasks while gaining knowledge and experience needed for placement into a regular position after successful completion of the program. Responsibilities exist in areas such as Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Employee Benefits. Willingness to provide a level of service which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors. Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude. Possess clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to effectively express thoughts, ideas and concepts to management, bank employees and bank customers in a collaborative and solutions oriented manner. Ability to operate within strict deadlines and to work independently. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management. Ability to independently prioritize tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding bank client information and bank policy and procedures Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
