About The Position

The Warehouse & Automation Intern position will work with warehouse and automation teams to increase the effectiveness of current systems. This position will be broad based in scope, as well as challenging in regard to working with diverse groups with staff at many different levels. Upon successful completion of the program, the candidate will have a variety of paths to further their career and valuable experience in a real-world setting.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum GPA of 3.2
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-starter
• Effective at listening
• Highly analytical and detail oriented
• Ability to compose instructions that are understandable by all levels of the workforce
• Fluent in MS Office, with emphasis in Access and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work hands-on

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of improved internal flows and travel paths for SGVs
• Assist with development of measurements and improvements with automated storage and retrieval system
• Assist with report writing, KPI tracking and optimization recommendations
