About The Position
The College/Unit of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Intern w/ Dr. Sharma. Primary responsibilities would include security and privacy research focused on people with disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with research study design and execution, developing technical skills to build applications in accessibility and security domains. This role emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, applied research experience, and hands-on technical development.
Requirements
- PhD level researcher (preferably has publication in top security conference )
- Foundational knowledge in security, privacy, accessibility, or human-centered computing
- Ability to learn research methods and theoretical frameworks
- Basic technical or programming skills (or willingness to develop them)
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Motivation to work on technology supporting people with disabilities
