About The Position
Through the Number 10 Internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience in what it takes to work within a futbol in one of the world’s most vibrant and global cities. The program offers structured mentoring, learning sessions, and opportunities to interact with employees across all departments, giving your insight into the diverse roles and operations within the club. This is more than an internship, it's a unique chance to grow your skills, build your networks and be part of a passionate team. Inter Miami CF is looking for a creative and driven Video Production Intern to shoot, edit, and produce video content. This person will work alongside the Video Production Coordinator and will have the opportunity to learn the planning and production of all video content related to IMCF. Concluding this internship this person will know how to operate cameras and edit videos that meets the energy of our young and enthusiastic supporters. This position will be a one-year seasonal paid internship.
Requirements
- Applicants should be recent graduates or working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in a related field.
- Interested in pursuing a career in video production/editing.
- Experience with basic video editing.
- Basic lighting and audio knowledge.
- Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required.
- An idea person who is able to work extremely well within a team to come up with creative solutions and identify new opportunities, often in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.
- Strong attention to small details is a must.
- Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.
- Strong knowledge of computers.
- Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship, without interruption.
- Candidates must not require sponsorship for a work visa from Inter Miami CF now or in the future to maintain their authorization to work in the U.S.
- All applicants must pass a pre-employment background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Strong interest in soccer and sports is a plus.
- Last but not least, sense of humor.
Responsibilities
- Shoot game day footage for social media and news outlets.
- Shoot daily events in an ENG format while being able to also shoot creative and iconic shots.
- Edit footage into deliverable content before delivery deadlines.
- Edit video projects from start to final deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Assist in post-production by finding and organizing footage that aligns with the creative vision of the team.
- Assist in setting up camera, lighting, and audio equipment for shoots.
- Proactively create ideas that can help create interesting content and opportunities.
- Organizing assets/logging footage.
- Assisting in game day operations for the video production crew.
