About The Position
At Lucid Motors, we are on a mission to redefine the luxury electric vehicle experience, and we are looking for a motivated UX/UI Design Intern to join our Digital Design team for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry, contributing to the design of user-centric, interactive experiences for our connected electric vehicles. As a design intern, you will be involved in prototyping, designing, and delivering innovative interfaces for both in-car systems and the Lucid mobile app. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product teams to develop use cases and high-level system requirements, ensuring that our designs meet the needs of prospective buyers, new owners, and long-term customers. You will be engaged in all stages of the design process, from initial ideation and wireframing to prototyping and testing the final product. Your work will directly influence the user experience of Lucid vehicles, making it essential to have a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex design problems. You will also partner with UX researchers to gather consumer data, validate concepts, and apply findings to your designs. This collaborative environment will allow you to work with software teams to build experiences by providing design specifications, creating assets, and reviewing finished interfaces. Your designs will not only enhance the user experience but also contribute to the overall mission of creating a more sustainable future through innovative technology.
