About The Position

This summer internship is tailored for college students entering their senior year who are interested in pursuing a career in the insurance industry. Interns will receive training in our product lines and gain exposure to real-world underwriting practices.

Nice To Haves

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably Risk Management & Insurance, Business or Math(rising senior status in Summer of 2026 is highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assisting in operations such as quoting new business
• Processing renewals
• Contributing to various underwriting projects that impact profitability
• Job shadowing with experienced underwriters to observe territory management and book-building strategies.
• Field visits with Loss Control specialists to understand risk evaluation in diverse business environments.
• Agency interactions to learn how underwriting decisions align with agent relationships and submissions.
• Professional development through mentoring, Capstone presentation and feedback sessions that highlight your internship journey and impact.
