About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Data Engineering Intern to help build and scale the data infrastructure that powers analytics, automation, and AI across the firm. You will design and implement production-grade data pipelines, work with cloud-native tooling, and partner with senior engineers and data scientists on systems that matter. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • Graduation date between December 2026 and September 2027
  • Strong command of SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems fundamentals
  • Experience building data pipelines or backend systems through coursework, research, or personal projects
  • Comfort working in cloud environments
  • Clear technical communication and the ability to reason about trade-offs
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn across technical and operational domains
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be on-site in New York, Atlanta, Nashville or Chicago as required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship, lab, or coursework experience in IT or technology
  • Familiarity with basic IT concepts (devices, operating systems, networking)
  • Interest in project management or IT service management (ITIL exposure a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assist with device lifecycle activities (provisioning, refreshes, decommissions)
  • Support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF, SCCM – exposure level)
  • Help validate software deployments and document technical processes
  • Participate in testing new tools, configurations, or workflows
  • Support active DWT&S projects by tracking tasks, milestones, and risks
  • Help maintain project documentation, timelines, and status updates
  • Sit in on project meetings and capture notes/action items
  • Assist with rollout planning, communications, and post-project retrospectives
  • Provide on-site and remote support for end users (with guidance)
  • Assist with conference room and AV setup/troubleshooting
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Help document support workflows and identify improvement opportunities
