About The Position

Drive technology strategy and delivery excellence for State & Local Government clients, ensuring successful execution of projects, pipeline growth, and alignment with organizational goals. Lead initiatives across sales, delivery, and innovation while fostering strong client and partner relationships. The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs Interns on real world projects and/or internal Guidehouse initiatives, showcasing the Guidehouse culture and providing them with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of tangible needs. Each Intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience. Highlights of our Internship Program include: 10-week experience in Summer 2026 (Anticipated to start Monday, June 8 and run until Friday, August 14) Learning & Development Sessions (both E-learning & Instructor Lead) Mid-Point and Final Evaluations Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern Event Networking & Social Activities and Events Intern Speaker Series Collaborative Group Projects As an Intern supporting TAL/TPAL, you’ll be the operational backbone for account execution—tracking and converting swing factors into outcomes (Green/Yellow/Red with receipts), orchestrating deliberate relationship coverage across economic/technical buyers and ecosystem partners (e.g., MSFT/AWS/Salesforce), maintaining pipeline hygiene and whitespace mapping, contributing to deal-level P‑win strategies and close plans tied to buyer value, and updating booked vs. plan weekly. You’ll help advance a product-over-projects operating model (M‑POM, roadmaps, OKRs), support platform economics (build‑once‑reuse‑everywhere, APIs, multi‑tenant services), champion secure‑by‑design & privacy‑preserving AI, and operationalize operate‑what‑we‑build practices (SRE, FinOps, MLOps). Each week, you’ll run the evidence check on open actions, produce a crisp 1‑page progress report, calculate the Account Execution Health Score (0–100) with rationale, and prepare ready‑to‑send risk escalation emails when thresholds are triggered—while delivering sharp, actionable prep for exec meetings, deal strategy, and partner leverage, always tied back to the plan. Throughout the internship, you will have the chance to work with our internal teams on the assigned project, meet with upper management to reflect on your personal and professional development, and socialize with your fellow interns during outings/activities. As an intern, you will work with an experienced team to support the development of an AI and Data project, presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and any additional project tasks. Requirements

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
  • Minimum Degree Status: Undergraduate Degree or Graduate Degree (must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027)
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or anytime in the future; Students possessing F-1 or J-1 visas are excluded from interview schedules or being hired for this position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/government security clearance (US Citizenship is one of the requirements for security clearance).
  • Ability to adhere to on-site work schedules as directed.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following (or similar) fields: Business/Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Public Policy/Administration, or Engineering.
  • Coursework that helps: statistics/analytics, operations or project management, databases/SQL, marketing/sales management, cybersecurity/AI ethics.
  • Academic standing: strong record of achievement (GPA not required, but 3.2+ is a plus).
  • Capstone/club experience (preferred): consulting club, hackathons, case competitions, product management or entrepreneurship clubs.
