We are seeking a college Intern to join our Supply Chain team at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC. This role will provide an opportunity to contribute towards key projects and analysis that are important to our business. Contributions include coordination of small projects, leading project tasks, documenting processes, providing ad-hoc analysis, and supporting efforts to build and maintain business processes, systems, and data. Subject matter experts will provide guidance to help resolve complex problems. This exciting internship is part of a growing supply chain team which includes business analytics, business performance improvement, procurement, and other key business functions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business administration, supply chain or related field.
  • Good knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word.
  • Awareness of project management tools.
  • Ability to research and learn independently.
  • Experience with data analysis and ability to work with data.
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to create high quality visuals.
  • Organized and detail oriented with ability to manage tasks and timelines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly articulate ideas and messages.

Responsibilities

  • Support department leaders to drive projects to completion.
  • Work with teams to define project charters and develop project timelines / plans.
  • Lead small projects focused on process development, improvement, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving needs.
  • Identify best practices, define and document processes, and develop solutions to challenges.
  • Implement process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or variations from established policy that drive advancements for the company.
  • Conduct quantitative data analysis and interpretation of key performance measures to inform improvement priorities and business decisions.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company's Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company's policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.
