About The Position

Seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer Intern with a strong foundation in chemical and process engineering principles. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background in science and math along with analytical thinking skills necessary to solve technical problems. What your day might look like: A day in the life of our Manufacturing Engineer Intern is diverse and hands-on. Your journey begins with an introduction to our chemical formulation process for reference standards and reagents. You will then learn how our filling and packaging processes work, gaining hands-on manufacturing experience. After introducing processes,, we’ll review a list of projects available to find the right fit. Throughout the day, you might find yourself: Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the production floor Working on your assigned projects Documenting and reviewing processes (work instructions, etc.) Participating in brainstorming sessions for product/testing improvements Shadowing experienced engineers to learn about different aspects of manufacturing and/or help as needed Your day will be a balance of computer-based work, hands-on tasks, and interpersonal communication, providing a well-rounded learning experience in the manufacturing field
