The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background in science and math along with analytical thinking skills necessary to solve technical problems. What your day might look like: A day in the life of our Manufacturing Engineer Intern is diverse and hands-on. Your journey begins with an introduction to our chemical formulation process for reference standards and reagents. You will then learn how our filling and packaging processes work, gaining hands-on manufacturing experience. After introducing processes,, we’ll review a list of projects available to find the right fit. Throughout the day, you might find yourself: Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the production floor Working on your assigned projects Documenting and reviewing processes (work instructions, etc.) Participating in brainstorming sessions for product/testing improvements Shadowing experienced engineers to learn about different aspects of manufacturing and/or help as needed Your day will be a balance of computer-based work, hands-on tasks, and interpersonal communication, providing a well-rounded learning experience in the manufacturing field

Responsibilities

Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the production floor
Working on your assigned projects
Documenting and reviewing processes (work instructions, etc.)
Participating in brainstorming sessions for product/testing improvements
Shadowing experienced engineers to learn about different aspects of manufacturing and/or help as needed
