JOB PURPOSE The Supplier Quality Engineering intern will have the opportunity to build upon his/her academic background through real world experience. Under the direction of supplier quality engineers, he/she will assist with supplier quality engineering projects and other engineering tasks.

Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent required
• Enrollment in bachelor’s or a master’s degree program
• Junior or Senior level standing, or graduate student
• 3.0 GPA
• MS Office Experience
• Communication skills both written and oral
• Analytical skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in the Medical Device Industry
• Knowledge or Oracle and Excel a plus

Responsibilities

• Support creation of supplier capability database. Talk to internal experts to compile a list of desired capabilities, send out questionnaires to suppliers, and compile results into a database.
• Transition suppliers to paperless DHR documentation submittal
• Build out processes requiring supplier input in DocuSign (SCAR, SCR, QA) to reduce the need for paper copies and scanning of final documents
• Analyze quality data to help determine dock to stock supplier selection
• General supplier management activities (supplier files maintenance, OEM attribute updates, etc.)
