About The Position

The CapMetro Emerging Talent Internship Program is an 8-week, onsite experience designed to provide hands-on exposure across departments such as: Systemwide Accessibility Engineering & Vehicle Maintenance Technology & Data Analytics Planning & Project Management Legal and more! Interns will work 15-40 hours a week alongside professionals and receive mentorship, professional development workshops, and exposure to both office and operational environments. Pending funding and performance, interns may also have the opportunity for an extension of their role. As part of the CapMetro Emerging Talent Internship, interns will be able to receive free CapMetro bus and rail transportation to and from the office. Applicants must be available between June 1st- July 31st for the intern program. Applicants must also submit your resume, faculty letter of recommendation and short statement of interest outlining preferred departments or skill areas. Incomplete applications will not be considered. CapMetro is Austin's regional public transportation provider.
