Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Major or minor in Metallurgy or Materials Science preferred.
• Previous exposure to quality principles and tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work along with analysts in the MCL Core laboratory to perform routine compliance testing, analysis, and investigations for Quality.
• Interpret testing procedures and techniques.
• Utilize metallographic techniques and mechanical testing techniques.
• Identify proper testing equipment.
• Perform and record test results independently once proficiency is displayed.
