About The Position

Community State Bank (CSB) is offering an internship program designed for exceptional students who are eager to gain valuable experience in the banking sector. The internship will provide exposure to various aspects of banking, including Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, and Wealth Management. Interns will have the opportunity to interact with Senior Leadership, participate in the Iowa Bankers Intern Program Events, and complete a CSB Intern Project. CSB values building relationships and doing the right thing for co-workers, customers, and the community, making it an ideal environment for interns to explore their career paths and goals.

Requirements

• Current sophomore or junior working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Management, or any other Business-related major.
• Preferred GPA of 3.00 overall or in area of interest.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive, self-starter, independent worker with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams and interact with other groups to achieve company and department objectives.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to different aspects of banking including Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, and Wealth Management.
• Interact with Senior Leadership.
