Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience including verbal, technical writing, and engineering presentations.
  • Experience in the Aerospace/ jet engine industry.
  • Experience with gas turbine engine rotating hardware.
  • Experience in a team leader role or similar task leadership position.
  • Experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, Smartsheet, MS Project or other scheduling software.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams to plan and execute tasks to technical & customer requirements to support Mature Commercial Engine (MCE) programs.
  • Work closely with team members and regulatory authorities to develop & recommend product improvements, and to develop solutions & recommendations to solve problems.
  • Support external customers and overhaul shops with timely responses to field requests and Eaglenet case dispositions.
  • Assist with part-level sourcing activities and coordinate with Procurement, Industrial, & Manufacturing team members as well as the internal/external Supply Chain.
  • Support the PW Safety Management System through participation in detailed investigations of field event hardware as necessary.
