The Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering's (ASE) Methods group is responsible for the development, deployment, and support of game-changing repair design tools, technical data processes, and business processes. These tools enable Pratt & Whitney to continually push the state of the art in gas turbine engine repairs and reduce the cost of maintaining our parts, components, and engines. The primary focus of this group is for ASE, but requires coordination and collaboration with other Methods groups within Pratt & Whitney.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with learning and understanding the needs of the engineering organization and translate those needs into clear software requirements which will drive the design, development, and testing of high-quality web applications for the engineering organization.
  • Interface and collaborate with our stakeholders/customers to understand requirements, manage our software products, and communicate progress.
  • Assist with creating strategies for developing scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Drive improvements in our software engineering processes and practice.
