The Intern provides Information Systems first level support to customers across the enterprise for all end user devices and applications. User problems are simulated or recreated to resolve customer issues and system changes are recommended as necessary to reduce user problems. Interaction with other services such as networking, interfaces, application development, etc. is required as necessary to identify and correct problems and restore user functionality. The Intern is responsible for assisting Help Desk staff as needed with monitoring critical functions, operations, installation, and maintenance.
