Requirements

  • Enrolled in ABET-accredited bachelor's or master's degree program in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Prior internship, work, or applied coursework experience in structural engineering.
  • Familiarity with STADD, Revit, RAMSteel, or equivalents.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and willingness to learn Revit.
  • Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Capable of field inspection activities such as climbing ladders and using man lifts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Working proficiency in software programs such as RAMSteel, AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience conducting structural analyses and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed structural calculations under supervision of Lead Structural Engineer.
  • Coordinate structural designs to meet project requirements using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse disciplines and assist in field surveys.
  • Review and organize structural shop drawings.
  • Attend seminars to stay current with industry trends as directed.
