  • Support the centralized fiber planning team which manages the capacity of Lumen's national fiber network.
  • Contribute to real-world network capacity challenges.
  • Focus on spatial analysis, GIS platforms (such as Esri ArcPro/ArcMap), and automation of capacity constraint analysis.
  • Gain exposure to both the technical and strategic aspects of network planning, including migration efforts and data manipulation.
  • Work closely with the team to address current migration and capacity planning projects.
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
  • Graduating August 2026 – May 2028.
  • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferably with an engineering or computer science background and experience with GIS tools.
  • Ability to identify blind spots.
  • Creative problem-solving approach.
  • Fresh perspectives on data analysis and network optimization.
  • Hourly Based Pay Range: Min: $26/hour, Max: $38/hour.
