About The Position

PrimeRevenue is seeking a SQL & Data Analytics Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity for college students looking to gain real-world experience in SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence. You will work with our team to analyze data, troubleshoot database issues, and assist in reporting and visualization using Tableau and Snowflake.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Some coursework or experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Snowflake preferred).
• Curious and eager to learn new database concepts and analytical techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Some knowledge of Python for data analysis.
• Understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and cloud-based databases.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Assist in troubleshooting data discrepancies, missing records, and database issues.
• Support the team in query performance tuning and data validation.
• Help maintain and analyze large datasets in PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Learn how to develop stored procedures, CTEs, and scripts to automate processes.
• Assist in Tableau reporting and dashboard development.
• Gain exposure to predictive analytics and business intelligence concepts.
• Learn the Snowflake data platform and assist in data migrations and optimizations.
