About The Position

We are looking for a motivated software engineer to join our team in developing diagnostic and testing tools that enhance software quality and support our customers' success. In this role, you will help design, prototype, and develop a diagnostic tool aimed at assisting our Technical Support staff in identifying motion control-related issues within our embedded software control system. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our automated testing framework by extending the capabilities to include ability to support our XPR power supply. This role offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your design and development skills by working on a Windows-based embedded software platform. You'll receive mentorship and guidance from experienced software engineers, helping you grow both technically and professionally. Throughout the development process, you'll present your work to stakeholders, gaining constructive feedback to support your progress and refine your solutions. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Python, C++, C# or other object-oriented languages
  • Academic Experience with Software Development and Design
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • Comfort with change, learning new technologies, and adjusting to evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of motion analysis diagnostic tool
  • Prototyping of Diagnostic Tool Screens
  • Perform functional reviews of diagnostic tool
  • Participating in Agile / Scrum ceremonies
  • Documentation of key functionality
