Intern, Software Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and curious Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team based in our Mountain View, CA office. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build, and test software features that support our core products. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world systems, codebases, and development workflows. Lanteris Space is a leading provider of comprehensive space technologies. Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with completion of 2 years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++.
- Understanding of fundamental CS concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, implementing, and testing new software features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Debug issues and contribute to improving application stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA.
- Contribute to documentation of features, APIs, and internal tools.
