This opportunity is temporary employment for engineering students who are seeking a summer internship. This is a paid internship for 40 hours (except holidays) and will begin in May/June 2025 and then concludes at the end of August 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering activities for an intern will be prioritized based on customer needs.
  • Schematic Capture and updates from Engineering mentor.
  • Bill of Material generation, maintenance and review.
  • Datasheet checking and organization.
  • Customer based component specification documents.
  • Executing verification tests.
  • Internal projects existing if customer related activities are not available include: Reference design schematic capture, BOM, specification sheets, etc.
  • Weekly meetings occur with the Software Engineering group to determine availability and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer, or other relevant engineering degrees.
  • Possess excellent communication abilities (oral and written).
  • Work effectively with others/other departments and independently.
  • Perform methodical problem solving.
  • Have good computer skills and an aptitude to advance those skills.
  • Ability to learn at a fast pace.
  • Interpretation of specifications and blueprints.
  • Demonstrate high level of attention to detail.
  • Creativeness in identification and implementation of solutions.
  • Use or learn to use various test equipment.
  • Work for extended periods at a computer or on your feet.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong preference: working knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW.
