About The Position

We're looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 12-week paid internship where you'll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. As a Labcorp intern, you'll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you'll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, and visibility, including direct interaction with senior leaders. Requirements

• Working towards a bachelor's, master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting.
• Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
• Embraces diverse perspectives through partnerships and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Life Science is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with internal staff to understand functional software requirements and developing and verifying software solutions.
• Knowledge of how to design/develop web services / APIs.
• Able to review existing code, understand the workflows and redesign/refactor as needed.
• Knowledge of application design activities, tools and techniques; ability to utilize these to convert business requirements and logical models into technical application designs and code.
• Team player with a proactive attitude, the ability to be productive in a dynamic / collaborative environment and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Use AI to migrate existing capabilities to be more powerful and efficient tools.
