Intern- Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Summer 2026 Paid Internship Mid-May – Mid-August This internship is not eligible for relocation assistance. Local candidates preferred. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test Intern to join our Digital Banking team. In this exciting role, you will work with a team of dedicated individuals committed to deliver results and support program objectives. You will have opportunities to collaborate with others to develop creative solutions for challenges. This opportunity is full-time and on-site in Midvale, UT. As a Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) Intern , you will join our team to build a testing framework and execute test cases that will help groups adopt next gen technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Basic working knowledge of programming, test automation, manual testing, and test plans
Experience with programming languages (Java, Python)
Knowledge of test automation toolsets (Selenium, Cucumber, Git, Docker, Jenkins)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable communicating with teams via showcases/demos

Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with developers in manual tests to quickly iterate and deliver features
Develop and maintain automation scripts using QA framework
Create documentation for community
Review test cases, requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely, actionable feedback
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development/QA groups to troubleshoot and resolve issues and explore improvements.
