Role Details Company: Large Electronics Company USA Function: Digital Marketing Job Title: Intern, Social Media & Influencer Marketing Job Position: Part-Time Contractor Project Duration: 6 months to 1 year Location: Los Angeles, CA Work Type: Hybrid (Onsite 2–3 days/week) Hours: 25–30 hours per week (Office hours: 9 AM–6 PM PST) Hourly Rate: $25.00/hr
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, Advertising, or related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, etc.)
- Demonstrated passion for social media and content creation
- Active social media presence
- Experience or strong interest in beauty
Nice To Haves
- Image/video editing skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing monthly social media calendars and product launch strategies, ensuring alignment across marketing channels
- Manage scheduling, tagging, and publishing across platforms
- Create and adapt content for Stories, Reels, and feed posts, including writing on-brand captions
- Monitor daily engagement, respond to community interactions, and surface trending topics
- Stay up to date on social and beauty/skincare trends to inform content direction
- Ideate, film, and edit short-form video content using in-app tools
- Comfortable appearing on camera as needed
- Support organic influencer gifting across Large Electronics Company brands by identifying creators, coordinating outreach, and managing shipments
- Help maintain and grow the influencer pool by tracking key moments and nurturing relationships
- Assist with internal influencer gifting initiatives and manage in-office gifting inventory
- Track and audit the internal influencer database to ensure accuracy
- Aid in managing influencer platforms such as Tribe Dynamics and Statusphere
