About The Position

Acuity Inc. is a market-leading industrial technology company that uses technology to solve problems in spaces, light, and more. The company is positioned at the intersection of sustainability and technology, developing products and services that help save energy and reduce carbon emissions. The Acuity Brands Internship Program is a 10-12 week experience designed to develop high-potential candidates into leaders through hands-on experiences. Interns will participate in key projects, mentor with leaders, and have the opportunity to join the Leadership Program after graduation. This role is remote and may require travel based on business needs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Professional Sales, or a related field
• Relevant internship or project experience
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven problem-solving capabilities
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Experience leading teams or organizations
• Ability to lift and handle product samples

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research
• Collect and analyze data
• Assist with presentation development
• Deliver presentations to an internal audience
• Support the Infrastructure Growth Initiative and Sales Directors
• Conduct account research using ZoomInfo and other tools
• Prospect and engage potential customers
• Assist with proposal development
• Attend joint sales calls
