Requirements

  • In process of earning an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity or Information Technology. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong communication skills with a working knowledge of basic Information Security and IT terms and processes; analytical mindset to problem solve; ability to work independently as well as in a team and remain on task.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • None required but some previous Information Security and/or IT experience would be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily security log/alert review including follow up and investigation when appropriate.
  • Monitor and analyze the internal phishing mailbox. Elevate when assistance is necessary.
  • Perform testing / document new security initiatives.
  • Assist with the user access provisioning and de-provisioning process.
  • Assist and/or complete risk assessments tied to vendor management and new technologies.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Performs any job related tasks as assigned by any member of the Information Security department with oversight from the Director of Information Security.
