About The Position

Nemours is seeking a Research Intern to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. The Research Intern is a temporary position that works within the Nemours Anesthesia and Surgical Outcomes Center (NASOC) on various research protocols or projects. A research intern is responsible for assisting the research team with conducting an investigation, compiling information, and analyzing results for an organized research study. Research interns' duties also include understanding the work processes and operation procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a health-related field.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data to meet specific project objectives by using various informational sources.
• Demonstrates skill in oral and written communication.
• Learns and develops skills in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.
• Understands and demonstrates ability in using computers and related software on projects.
• Learns and uses data analysis and problem-solving methods and skills.
• Demonstrates planning and organizing ability.
• Demonstrates the ability to establish databases to maintain or track data.
• Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by NASOC leadership.
