About The Position

In this role, you will conduct the bulk of work in the form of a research project. You will carry out the project, which will be in the proof-of-concept phase and require design, planning, and execution of lab experiments to prepare, characterize, and performance test material candidates for a commercial separation process. The internship is a paid position with the work to be completed during normal business hours, 40 hours per week, with a duration of approximately 3 months. The internship will provide you with exposure to departments beyond Adsorption Materials to provide the successful candidate with an overview of different career paths at Linde.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program in chemistry or a related discipline.
  • Completed at least 3 years of the PhD program prior to the internship.
  • Exceptional technical and leadership skills.
  • Ability to apply skills effectively in an industrial environment.
  • Highly creative with initiative and drive.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Track record of personal accountability and success throughout academic and work career.
  • Ability to work safely in a chemistry lab.
