Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets. Position This 10-week summer internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Oncology Research function in a collaborative, fast-paced drug discovery environment. The Intern, Research Biology (Oncology) will support early-stage research focused on evaluating novel therapeutic approaches and expanding current drug discovery capabilities in the oncology space. In this role, you will gain exposure to interdisciplinary drug discovery workflows while working alongside research scientists supporting cell-based assay development, single molecule tracking (SMT) technologies, and target validation strategies. This internship is designed to provide practical laboratory experience while contributing to innovative research that may help identify new therapeutic targets and modalities. About You You are passionate about cell biology research and are excited to gain hands-on laboratory experience supporting drug discovery efforts. You are detail-oriented, curious, and motivated to learn new research technologies and experimental approaches. You enjoy working at the bench, maintaining organized experimental records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance scientific programs.
