Role The Release Engineering team is responsible for the infrastructure that delivers Intrinsic's software platform. Our mission is to create tools and processes that enable Intrinsic developers to ship software that reaches the entire Intrinsic developer ecosystem. As a Software Engineering intern on this team you will be responsible for optimizing and specializing our release infrastructure to meet the diverse needs of Intrinsic developers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s student in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Programming experience with Linux Shell scripting, Go, or Python.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar CI/CD systems.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Enthusiasm for solving challenging problems with measurement and data-driven solutions.
  • Effective coordination skills for complicated software development efforts across distributed teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify build and deployment pipelines that deliver Intrinsic software.
  • Work with Engineering Productivity to investigate slow builds and mitigate with improved caching or build architecture.
  • Bring up new release components as our platform expands.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the build, test, and deployment process.
