Requirements

• Entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year at a 4 year college or university.
• Substantial coursework in one or more of the following: accounting, finance, economics, business, political science, engineering
• Interest in public policy and regulation of the utility industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively
• Logical approach to problem solving and the ability to thoroughly research issues and analyze various types of information
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete the work necessary to meet deadlines
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. ITC does not sponsor employment visas, such as H-1B or TN visas.

Responsibilities

• Summarize filings made in regulatory proceedings and orders issued by regulatory authorities, with a focus on impact to the Company
• Research state and regional policies related to the electric transmission industry.
• Provide support to the regulatory team's advocacy efforts on transmission policy initiatives.
• Develop an understanding of the Company's key initiatives and identify regulatory issues of interest to the Company
