About The Position

Trinity Property Consultants is offering a 10-week paid Real Estate Management Internship designed for students to gain hands-on experience in property management. Interns will rotate through various roles including Leasing, Assistant Manager, Manager, Maintenance, Operations, and Corporate functions. Each intern will be mentored by a senior leader and will have opportunities to work on real-world projects, enhancing their understanding of the multifamily industry and customer service excellence.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a 4-year accredited program, Real Estate, Hospitality or Property Management preferred
  • Sophomore year completed by start of Internship, preferred
  • 1-year of work experience and/or extracurricular activity involvement, preferred
  • Ability to fluently read and write English
  • Accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions
  • Use all on-site resident management software functions

Responsibilities

  • Practice sales techniques
  • Marketing in-house and offsite including developing marketing analysis reports
  • Learn and use industry software programs
  • Participate in property tours and site visits
  • Learn maintenance management proficiencies and techniques including processing maintenance requests
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Complete market surveys
  • Learn and demonstrate proficiency of the leasing process
  • Process accounts receivable
  • Clerical and phone support
  • Maintain digital and paper records
  • Maintain a community calendar of scheduled events
  • Complete pre-inspections to ensure rent readiness
  • Assist with legal evictions processes
  • Practice critical resolution decision-making skills and demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints
  • Review the financial move out process
  • Additional tasks or duties as assigned by community leadership
