About The Position

This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 202 6 . Resume review begins in January 202 6 . The Q uality C ontrol (QC) Raw Materials team is responsible for ensuring that all materials needed within manufacturing are inspected, sampled, tested, and released to meet manufacturing timelines . This team works closely with Materials Management and Planning to meet these commitments . As an intern within this team, you can expect to learn how materials are introduced into the facility and how the quality control team ensures that these materials meet all quality standards before being released for use within the facility. What You’ll Do: As an intern, you wil l engage with team members and learn how the quality of raw materials used within manufacturing is ensured . Once trained, you will learn how to do performance checks of equipment such as balances and pH meters . You will help perform these checks daily as needed . You will also be trained in basic identification and compendial testing. Detailed description of role including but not limited to: Train on basic laboratory techniques and procedures assigned Train on identification testing as well as compendial testing for materials Learn how to use KNEAT, LIMS, and Oracle enterprise systems Participate in team meetings Example projects may include: Supporting QC to reduce/streamline sample submissions to Contract Lab Organizations (CLOs) and the receipt of data to reduce turnaround times (TAT) and release of materials. Learn basic identification techniques and compendial testing. Who You Are: Conscientious self-starter with good attention to detail Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects Strong communication skills Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to learn T o participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date . C urrently enrolled in an accredited community college , college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.
