We are looking for a Quality Control Micro Intern to join our team and play a role providing QC Micro support for the QC Micro Color Group team. The QC Micro intern will support the area of special projects regarding Environmental Monitoring.

Requirements

Must be at a minimum status of a junior level and working toward a four-year degree program in Biology related degree with a minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA is required.
Good professional appearance and demeanor.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and web browsers.
Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees across all levels.
Good judgment and decision-making skills.

Previous micro internship experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Support the micro group by performing a special project designed to update laboratory procedures.
Learn food micro skills in a professional environment.
Gain exposure to microbiological techniques in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
Deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines.
Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
