The Project Engineering team within our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Elma, NY. To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: Enrolled in a Mechanical/Electrical/Systems Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program (or equivalent) at an accredited university. GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department. Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship. Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Military Aircraft development programs as a Project Engineer.
  • Provide program technical direction, with the support of an experienced Project Engineer, along with tracking and presenting schedule and budget metrics.
  • Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
  • Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
  • Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
