We are offering a 3-month Project Engineer Summer internship at our mine and refinery based in Boron, California. Working in a challenging and exciting environment, within the RTM Borates Department, you will: Be introduced to a dynamic environment of collaboration with engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams across the Boron Mine to support various projects related to the growing demands of the industry, Be exposed to Sustaining Capital and Carbon Neutral Projects, Be exposed to the development of projects from the engineering concept (studies), pre-feasibility, feasibility, bid process through the mobilization/demobilization of site contractors, managing projects budgets, schedule, performance, safety, construction, quality, commissioning, operational readiness, and close-outs. This program will require both office work and 'boots in the field' to observe the progress of construction works and the activities' safety and environmental aspects as part of the Rio Tinto CRM Program (Critical Risk Management).
