About The Position

Airgas is hiring for a Production Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 in Radnor, PA. This internship is PAID at $29/hr and will last for 10 weeks, starting June 2nd and concluding August 8th. Interns will work three days in the office and two days remote, with hours from 8am to 5pm. The position offers hands-on field experience to learn the fundamentals of production engineering in a leading supplier of single-source industrial gases.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BS in engineering discipline (In process of attaining degree).
• At least six months experience with Google Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Previous chemical operator or engineering experience.
• Previous internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Air Separation and Liquid CO2 production processes.
• Support P&ID verification and updates.
• Work with Zone Engineers and the Zone Planner on outage planning and execution.
• Support Plant Managers and Zone Engineers on project planning and execution. Learn the project methodology and support a project from cradle to grave.
• Use tools to understand the theory and practicality of efficiency calculations for whole plant operations, and constraints of the entire supply chain. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement in the plant operations.
• Monitor and communicate plant efficiencies using both real-time and historical data streams.
