Summary of Position Production engineer intern in an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing facility
Requirements
- Undergraduate in engineering discipline, chemical engineering preferred
- Intern will have completed course work required to matriculate into their intended engineering discipline, rising senior preferred
Responsibilities
- Intern will work alongside APAP (acetaminophen) manufacturing personnel to learn the tasks associated with a production engineer role.
- Typical activities would include process monitoring and troubleshooting, deviation investigation and root cause analysis, batch record review and modification, shutdown planning, and completion of small process-related projects.
