Intern, Product Reliability Engineer
About The Position
Ayar Labs, the global leader in optical I/O chiplets, is harnessing silicon photonics to revolutionize the scaling of AI compute hardware. We are looking for a motivated undergraduate or graduate intern to join our Quality and Reliability team, who will help expand the capability of our specialized characterization methods to study device performance outside of operational conditions. You will gain experience in bringing up and debugging a reliability test station to run an automated screening pipeline and gross trend analysis of output data. You will be mentored by a senior engineer as you work alongside with Ayar Labs engineers to help drive the optical I/O revolution.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Familiar with laboratory equipment and DOEs.
- Programming skills in Python.
- Familiar with data analysis of experimental data using Python and/or JMP.
- The ideal candidate is an independent and highly-motivated student who is able to work collaboratively and debug independently, and can self-manage time effectively to take projects to completion.
