If so, we want you to join us at Galileo, SoFi company, this summer! As a SoFi Product Management Intern, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines during your internship. You’ll be working as a full-time member of our PM team, focused every day on building products and features that fulfill our mission to help our members get their money right. This role will sit in Galileo’s Card Processing Product, which is responsible for powering issuer card processing solutions for 200+ clients including SoFi, processing hundreds of billions of annual volume for hundreds of millions of card holders across North America. We operate at a massive scale and are critical to SoFi’s mission.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited US-based university (working towards a Master’s degree) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
- Have no more than 3 years of professional, full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles)
- Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship
- Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work in the San Francisco HQ office
- Some experience building software or launching products in a non-academic setting (internship, hackathon, relevant projects, etc.)
- Interest in product management and marketing functions
- Flexible and collaborative approach to problem solving and ideation in a highly ambiguous environment
- Ability to operate cross-functionally, leading and influencing colleagues, and ultimately leading to timely tactical decision making
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Data-driven approach and excellent analytical skills
- Passion for your customers! You do right by them, always
Responsibilities
- As a Product Manager Intern at Galileo, you will have an opportunity to learn every aspect of the Product Manager role by end-to-end owning, shaping and delivering a new feature.
- This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, business development, sales, implementation, data, operations, finance, and many other teams to set project objectives, define product strategy, prioritize features and execute on them.
- Ideation - refine the scope of your problem statement and work with marketing stakeholders to outline the problem you are looking to solve, solution, success metrics, and impact
- Plan - work with engineering to build out an implementation plan and timeline for developing, launching, and testing your new feature
- Implement - work with engineering and marketing stakeholders to implement, and test the new feature. Track how your feature is performing compared to the success metrics outlined in the ideation phase
